Overall
Every student is entitled to a quality education that
consists of rigorous instruction and practical relevance to
his/her life. Our perception often shapes our reality. That
is where the common understanding of meaningful goals and
high expectations plays a pivotal role in providing
distinctive educational service. Understanding that every
child develops and achieves at varying levels,
differentiated instruction for the student and continuous
professional development for the teacher is paramount to
creating a system of life-long learners. In a reciprocating
process the better prepared the instructors and staff become
the more they are able to engage and challenge their
students which in turn encourages them to raise the bar of
achievement to facilitate the growth that is eminent with
the acquisition of true education.
Professional Staff
The building level educators must be held to a standard of
consistency and professionalism. The essence of our craft is
the delivery of educational services to young people who
regardless of their personal preference require instruction.
An atmosphere of trust and “no-fault” thinking must exist if
the instructors are to rise to the challenge of growing and
learning in their ever-evolving craft. This is done in part
through meaning staff development and readily applicable
in-services. Every educator is charged to the task of
creating and providing an educational experience worthy of
their own children or family is the basis for what their
educational environment should resemble every day.
Students
No student should receive failing grades without documented
definitive interventions by the instructors and other
support staff. The students must be held accountable.
Parents
Children’s achievement are to be celebrated, published and
acknowledged. It not only reinforces their drive for
achievement but it simultaneously inspires others to attain
similar accomplishments.
